Spider-Man dominates nationally. Insidious dominates Lahore. That is the story of week 35.

555 showtimes across 11 cinemas and 10 movies this week (August 24–30). Spider-Man: Brand New Day holds 38.6% of every screen in the country — 214 of 555 total slots — playing at all 11 cinemas Derooj tracks. But in Lahore specifically, Insidious: Out of the Further outpaces it 68 to 59 showtimes. The horror franchise is Lahore's #1 movie this week, not Spider-Man. That kind of city-versus-national split is exactly why aggregate rankings only tell part of the story.

Three Punjabi films are on the chart this week: Carry On Jatta 4, Judaa, and Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree. All three are concentrated in Punjab and the north — not one showtime in Karachi for any of them.

Insidious: Out of the Further

168 showtimes, 11 cinemas. National #2 — but Lahore's #1. Cinepax Packages Mall has given Insidious 43 Lahore slots versus 27 for Spider-Man. That is a deliberate programming call, not a rounding error. Cinegold Lahore adds 16 more, and Cinepax Amanah Mall another 9, for a Lahore total of 68 showtimes — more than any other movie in the city.

The franchise has been running for over a decade and it still pulls. Karachi is giving it less priority than Lahore — Cinepax Ocean Mall has 15 showtimes for it, Cinegold Karachi has 20 — but it is present everywhere. No cinemas in the network are skipping it.

Mutiny

49 showtimes across 9 cinemas. The broadest release outside the top two, reaching Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, and Sialkot. Lahore's three cinemas together account for 20 of those showtimes: Cinepax Amanah Mall (8), Cinepax Packages Mall (8), and Cinegold Lahore (4).

Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie is the standout number to notice this week. It has 15 showtimes across 3 cinemas: Cinepax Ocean Mall (6), Cinepax Packages Mall (5), and Cinegold Karachi (4). Karachi accounts for 10 of those 15 showtimes — 66.7% of the film's national total — while Karachi is only 26.8% of national showtimes overall. The family film is significantly overweight in Karachi relative to its footprint elsewhere. If you have kids in Karachi and want a cinema outing this week, availability is better there than the raw national number suggests.

The End of Oak Street has 12 showtimes split evenly between Cinepax Packages Mall Lahore (6) and Cinepax Ocean Mall Karachi (6). Two cinemas, limited windows — check availability before committing.

Karachi — 149 showtimes, 2 cinemas, 6 movies

Cinepax Ocean Mall and Cinegold Karachi together run 149 showtimes across 6 titles. Spider-Man leads with 65.
