Top Movies in Pakistan This Week (June 29 – July 5, 2026)

Carry On Jatta 4 is running the table this week. 327 showtimes, all 15 cinemas across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad. The Punjabi comedy franchise's fourth entry arrived last week and it is not slowing down. Supergirl (267 showtimes) and Obsession (256 showtimes) are close behind, and both are also nationwide. 25 movies total this week across 1,426 showtimes — the broadest slate Pakistan cinemas have carried in months.

The headline number: all four of the top spots — Carry On Jatta 4, Supergirl, Obsession, and Toy Story 5 — are playing at every single cinema in the country simultaneously. That does not happen often. Usually one or two films dominate the screens; this week four have full national releases at the same time.

2. Supergirl

3. Obsession

256 showtimes, 15 cinemas. Horror/Thriller, 108 minutes. Rated 7.9 — notably high for a horror film, and the screen count confirms it is holding well.

For horror, CUE Cinemas is the recommendation. The Dolby Atmos system handles low-frequency tension well — footsteps, silence, sudden sound design. That matters more with a thriller than with most other genres.

4. Toy Story 5

163 showtimes, 15 cinemas. Rated 7.5. Animation/Family/Comedy/Adventure, 102 minutes. The Pixar sequel has full national distribution and is the family film of the week.

Michael (rank 8) is the standout beyond the mainstream. Rated 8.7, 47 showtimes, 6 cinemas. CUE Cinemas has 22 of those showtimes — the best audio option for the music and concert sequences in the Jackson biopic.

Minions & Monsters (rank 6) is in 2D and 3D, English and Urdu, at 9 cinemas. Nueplex Askari IV and Nueplex DHA in Karachi lead on showtimes for this one.
