Obsession is not far behind at 376 across all 15 cinemas, making it the only movie this week playing at every single cinema we track. Masters of the Universe holds steady in third with 177 showtimes. The Pakistan cinema chart this week has 30 movies, 1663 total showtimes across 15 cinemas. Those are massive numbers.

The new arrival worth paying attention to is The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act, opening with 85 showtimes at 10 cinemas. Backrooms also opened this week with 18 showtimes, mostly in Karachi. Horror continues to dominate the lineup — Obsession, Passenger, Psycho, Siccin 9, Kafir: Gerbang Sukma, and Backrooms give horror fans more options than anyone else this week.

The top movie in Pakistan this week, and it is not close. A Pakistani romance-thriller-action film with 388 showtimes across 14 of 15 cinemas. Universal Emporium leads with 56 showtimes, followed by Nueplex Askari IV with 54 and Cinegold Karachi with 42.

Obsession — 376 Showtimes, 15 Cinemas

The only movie this week playing at every single cinema. A horror-thriller rated 7.9 with a 108-minute runtime. CUE Cinemas is giving it the most love with 67 showtimes — that is CUE going all in. Nueplex Askari IV follows with 56, and Nueplex DHA has 44.

Masters of the Universe — 177 Showtimes, 12 Cinemas

The action-fantasy blockbuster holds its ground in week three with 177 showtimes across 12 cinemas. Rated 7.5 with a 141-minute runtime. Cinegold Karachi leads with 35 showtimes, Universal Emporium has 22, and Cinegold Islamabad has 21.

Available in both English and Urdu — Universal Emporium and several other locations are running the Urdu dubbed version alongside the original. Playing at Cinegold, Nueplex, Cinepax, CUE, Universal, and Cinestar locations across all three cities.

This one has had solid staying power. Down from its opening numbers but still commanding significant screen real estate. If you have family who prefers Urdu, this is one of the few options with a dub this week.

The music biopic drops from its number one spot last week but is still very much in the conversation at 158 showtimes across 11 cinemas. Rated 7.6 with a 128-minute runtime. CUE Cinemas leads with 31 showtimes, Universal Emporium has 26, and Nueplex Askari IV has 24.

The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act — 85 Showtimes, 10 Cinemas

New this week. The animated sci-fi horror film based on the web series opens with 85 showtimes across 10 cinemas. Rated 8.3 — the highest-rated movie on the chart this week — with a 93-minute runtime. Cinepax Ocean Mall leads with 15 showtimes, CUE Cinemas and Cinegold Karachi each have 14, and Universal Emporium has 12.

Playing at Cinepax, CUE, Cinegold, Universal, and Nueplex locations across Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad. 2D English. The web series has a massive following, and the opening numbers show that translating into ticket sales. 85 showtimes for an animated horror film is a strong debut.

What to Watch This Week

The holdovers worth catching: Michael is still going strong at 158 showtimes and CUE's Atmos system does the music biopic justice. Masters of the Universe in Urdu is available if you want to take family who prefer dubbed options.

For families, The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act is the fresh arrival with 85 showtimes, and Hoppers still has 23 if the kids have not seen it yet. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie hangs on with 10 showtimes at Cinepax Packages Mall and CUE.
